Things and bits for Piano 1970 - 2012

Stacks Image 389707

..after sweeping up some bits, leftovers, doodling & diddlings in conjunction with a major spring cleaning and survey last year place it all ends up with this pile of rubbish, loose ends, scribblings, phone jotting as well as some well behaved ”institutional” things. The vast majority of this load was composed in the 90:s but occasional items originated from 2000-12 and even back in the 70:s. Most of the shavings and bits in this package surfaced after successfully hiding for years in old sketchbooks, bills, scrap of papers in attics and among lonely bats in the belfry. Some items were jotted down while hanging in tedious phone queues, drinking in afternoon bars, killing sleepless nights, traveling in trains & airplanes etc. As usual some pieces in this selfmade anthology are more tricky than others, but! the far most of these harmless musical efforts are affordable for the happy amateur who have no other ambitions then pleasing him/herself and feel sheer happiness just being able hitting the ivorys at his or her own. About 90 percent of the pieces was never intended to published at all, but several has in fact been performed on concerts and some - believe or not - has even surfaced on official CD-productions and as soundtracks to tv-documentaries! The beautiful cover is a work by my lovely wife Maria Karlsson.—and You can download the batch for FREE!

The best of it…believe it ot not…it´s free! Free of charge! And there´s more! Tired after a heavy day of frustrating rehearsals? stressed after a row with a nerv-wracking and goofy concert organizer? Then try the third movement and enjoy! The sonatina is composed in truly homemade Bandholm Style. A highly predictable structured flat soundscape where the enemy can be seen from afar and a fleeing Rabbit is visible in the fields miles away - even when hiding in the grass!
